Privacy policy

This website belongs to Yana Yart Photography, a wedding, elopement and portrait photographer based in Cascais, Portugal. I am responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach me at hello@yanayartphotographer.com.

When you send an inquiry, I receive the details you type into the form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, the date and place you have in mind, and anything you choose to tell me about your plans. When you ask for the free planning guide, I receive your email address.

The website also uses your IP address for a short time to protect the form from spam and abuse. It is not stored with your inquiry.

If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. I see this only as anonymous statistics.

Your details are used to reply to your inquiry, to prepare a quote, and, if we work together, to plan and deliver your photography and meet my accounting obligations. Analytics data is used only to understand which pages are useful, and only with your consent.

I never sell your data, and I do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for the free planning guide.

Inquiries are saved by the website and passed to Sprout Studio, the studio-management system where I answer them. Email runs on Google Workspace, the website and its database are hosted by Lovable and Supabase, and client galleries are delivered through an online gallery platform. Google Analytics is used only if you accept analytics cookies.

These providers process data on my behalf under data-processing terms. Some are based outside the European Union; where data leaves the EU, it is protected by the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Images from weddings and sessions may be shown in this portfolio, in the journal, or on social media. If you would prefer your photographs stay private, tell me: that wish is always respected and written into your contract.

Data is kept only as long as it is needed for our work together and for legal or accounting obligations. Ask me at any time and I will delete an inquiry that did not lead to a booking.

You can ask at any time to see the personal data I hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Write to hello@yanayartphotographer.com and I will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data-protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD, www.cnpd.pt).

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, named _ga and _ga_…) are set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner. If you decline, none are set. The website remembers your choice in your browser's local storage, and you can change it at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
