Engagement at Ursa Beach in Portugal
Portugal is a magical country with stunning beaches that make for perfect engagement photoshoots. One of my favorite spots is Ursa Beach, just a 40 min drive from Lisbon, close to the picturesque towns of Cascais and Sintra. This stunning spot is located right on the Atlantic Ocean and provides couples with the perfect backdrop for their photos.
Recently, I had the privilege of photographing an engagement session at this breathtaking spot. The results were simply beautiful!
I was thrilled when Yana and Farid contacted me about a photoshoot. They wanted something unique and special to commemorate their stay in Portugal. At this point Yana didn’t know that this would be an engagement session. I suggested Praia da Ursa – one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal – and they were immediately on board. Getting to this beach, though, is a bit of a challenge – people have to hike down a steep cliff and then climb up on their way back, but it is definitely worth the effort!
By the time our photo session began, Yana didn’t have an idea that Farid was going to propose to her during this session. So it was a complete surprise when he got down on one knee and popped the question! The look on her face was priceless, and I’m so happy that I was able to capture this special moment for them.
This is one of the reasons why I love my job so much! I get to witness and capture the most beautiful moments in people’s lives. And I’m honored to be a part of it.
