This is a great question because what you wear can really affect how your photos turn out. My general rule of thumb is to dress in clothes that you feel comfortable in and that reflect your personal style. If you’re booking a family photoshoot, try to coordinate your outfits so that you complement each other without being too matchy-matchy. If you ask me, I personally love light colors and natural fabrics like linen and cotton, but it’s all up to you.

If you’re booking an outdoor photoshoot, there’s always a chance of rain. Not in sunny Portugal though. But seriously, if it does happen to rain on the day of your photoshoot, we can either wait it out, move the shoot indoors or even reschedule for another day. If it’s a wedding, rain is not a problem at all, because there are always so many beautiful places inside the venue where we can take photos.

Yes, of course! I’m happy to give you direction and help you with posing. I want you to feel comfortable in front of the camera, so I’ll give you as much or as little guidance as you need.

This is totally normal! I often work with clients who have never been professionally photographed before and they always say that they’re not sure what to do before the shoot. My best advice is to just relax and be yourself. I’ll help you with everything else.

I recommend booking your wedding photographer as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed, ideally 8 to 12 months in advance. This ensures availability and allows us to start planning the perfect photography experience for your big day. However, if you have a shorter timeline, don’t hesitate to get in touch!

Generally, it’s within two to four weeks for family photoshoots and six to twelve weeks for weddings.

This can vary depending on the time of year and how busy I am.

I accept bank transfers, card payments via Stripe, and cryptocurrency payments.

For weddings, the payment structure is divided into three parts:

1. A 30% deposit upon booking.
2. 50% due one month before the wedding.
3. The remaining balance is to be settled no later than one week before the wedding.

While this is my standard breakdown, I’m flexible. Couples can opt to make the payment all at once or in two installments if preferred. My aim is to handle the financial aspect well in advance to ensure you can fully immerse in your special day without any distractions.

For family and other photoshoots, the payment is due in full when you book the shoot.

I genuinely value each client and understand the unpredictability of life. When you book with me, I reserve that date exclusively for you, turning away other potential bookings. That’s why, for weddings, while the deposit is fully refundable if you cancel more than 6 months before the wedding, it becomes non-refundable thereafter. This ensures that I can maintain the high-quality service and dedication that I offer to each couple. I always aim to be as accommodating as possible, so if a change is needed, please let me know as soon as you can.
